A message from the International AIDS Society (IAS).

Help build the next generation of researchers and scientists. The International AIDS Society’s (IAS) Abstract Mentor Programme connects young and early career researchers with experienced researchers in the field of HIV, giving them a rare opportunity to receive constructive feedback on their abstracts before submitting them for the 9th IAS Conference on HIV Science (IAS 2017).

The success of the Abstract Mentor Programme depends on experienced researchers who volunteer their time and expertise to assist young and early career researchers, particularly those from resource-limited settings with fewer opportunities for mentorship in research and writing. On average, most mentors contribute four hours of their time to review abstracts and provide their feedback.

Mentors must have had at least two abstracts accepted at international scientific conferences, and have co-authored at least one manuscript accepted by a peer-reviewed scientific journal. For more information and to sign up to become a mentor, please click here.
