APR-24-12 The National Black Gay Men's Advocacy Coalition (NBGMAC) hosted a webinar on April 24, 2012 from 2-4 PM (EST) entitled "HIV/AIDS Research Update for Young Black MSM." The webinar highlighted current and future biomedical HIV prevention research initiatives, including studies of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and rectal microbicides. Speakers also discussed innovative community engagement strategies for engaging young Black MSM into research initiatives.
Speakers included Dr. LaRon Nelson from the University of Toronto, Jonathon Lucas from FHI 360, and Venton Jones from NBGMAC.
