MAY-23-12  On Wednesday, May 23 from 12:00-2:00 PM amFAR and AVAC: Global Advocacy for HIV Prevention, in cooperation with the Congressional HIV/AIDS Caucus, will host a Capitol Hill briefing on the research agenda needed to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic.   Panelists will explore the research agenda needed to bring the epidemic to a close, with special focus on a review of the status of existing and upcoming scientific research.  Read more.

Speakers include Carl Dieffenbach, PhD Director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases Division of AIDS, Dazon Dixon Diallo, MPH, Founder and President of SisterLove, Inc., and Jared Baeten, MD, PhD, Associate Professor in the Departments of Global Health and Medicine at the University of Washington.
