Background:

The World Health Organization, UNAIDS, International AIDS Society , Treatment Action Group and Forum for Collaborative HIV Research are jointly organizing a one and half day international pre-conference consultative meeting entitled HIV and TB in the context of universal access: what is working and what is not? on behalf of the Global TB/HIV Working Group of the Stop TB Partnership in conjunction with XVI International AIDS Conference in Toronto, Canada.

Status

The meeting on HIV and TB in the context of universal access: what is working and what is not? was held on August 12-13, 2006 at Holiday Inn on King Hotel in Toronto, Canada.

The session on HIV/TB Co-Infection: New Visions, New Directions was held on July 25th, 2005 during the 3rd IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis and Treatment in Rio de Janeiro. The Roundtable Discussion was also held on July 25th, 2005.
